So the Kanji test is over. I think I did pretty well. Maybe I passed. You need to get 140 points to pass, out of 200. When I was finished, I counted the ones I had definitely wrong, and it didn't add up to 60 points. But there's probably some that I thought I knew which I actually got wrong. I checked my guesses in the dictionary afterwards, and most of them were right, so maybe I passed. I'll find out in like a month.
The other day, I went skiing with one of the other guys from work. I hadn't been in a few years, but we had a day off from school for the last entrance exam, so we just went on a day trip. Skiing in Japan is really convenient because you can get a bullet train right to the base of the slope. So I left my house a little after 6, and was on the slope by about 8:30 or so. The weather was really nice, and it wasn't too crowded because it was a weekday. And it seems like I still remember how to ski. The last few years, I have tried snowboarding. But I don't really like it. Something about it just doesn't seem natural to me. And getting on the ski lift and all is a real pain in the ass. But I probably like skiing better because I am better at it.
