So, the final exams are over now. My kids did pretty well actually. There's a few of them that can actually speak some English, but only a very few. Now we are in that limbo time between the end of final exams and the beginning of summer break. Basically we're just killing time for half a week, which is barely enough time to get all the tests corrected and returned. The worst thing is that, even when school is over, it's not really over. From the following day, there's a week of mandatory summer school. Everyone has to attend for every subject, no matter how good or bad their grades are. I don't see when the point is of calling it summer vacation, when school just continues as normal the next day. It's irritating, but it's also a chance to have classes that are more fun than usual. But instead I am going to have everyone retake the final exam. Ha ha ha I'm a mean teacher.
