Well, it's Final Exam time at Urawa Jitsugyo, at least in the junior high. (The high school is more in sync with the rest of the world, and is already finished with exams.) It kind of sucks because the kids are all busy studying all the time, and don't have any time to fool around. They aren't even allowed to participate in after school clubs, so that they can focus completely on studying for the exams. And as our school is more difficult than the average school, and they have exams in 11 subjects, most with English components (including art), the kids really have their work cut out for them. I've been kinda busy anyway this week, because I have to do speaking, reading and interview tests with all my kids as part of the English Conversation finals. Once the tests start, it'll be all long days of drawing circles, or Xs as the case may be. I have to correct all of my art tests as well, which consists mostly of judging everyone's crazy illustrations. Should be fun though. I am more concerned with how the English Conversation paper test goes, because I made the whole thing from scratch this time, and it will be a test of my test-making ability, as well as a test of the kids' English.
